Saturday, October 22, the Summit to Sea Wineries will hold the 2nd Annual Roamin’ the Rhônes, offering a sampling of outrageous pates and cured meats. Indulge in some mighty fine paté de campagne at Burrell School Vineyards, paired with Syrah, and at Poetic Cellars, pair venison pâté with apricots & hazelnuts with "Mantra," and the delicious truffle mousse with Mourvedre, while amping up Syrah with rosettes de Lyons, a cured French sausage. Ooo la la!
Each winery will offer a sample of one wine with a special plate for $5, or do the entire tasting flight, plus plate, for $10 per person.
Participating wineries are Burrell School, Loma Prieta, MJA Vineyards and Poetic Cellars.
