The Scotts Valley Firefighters local 3577 in conjunction with the Scotts Valley Fire District will be holding their annual pancake breakfast Sunday October 14, 2012. The pancake breakfast will begin at 8:00am and will end around 12:00pm. Festivities will be held at the Scotts Valley Fire District Station 1, which is located at 7 Erba Lane in Scotts Valley. Along with the tasty pancakes, breakfast goers will find a variety of demonstrations and information from various public safety agencies. Firefighters will be on hand hosting station tours, engine tours, and public education seminars. There will be numerous children activities including the “Learn Not to Burn” trailer, bounce house, face painting, and the fire hose shoot out. All proceeds from this event will benefit local charities and scholarships within the Scotts Valley and greater Santa Cruz County communities. Last year the Scotts Valley Firefighters donated over $4,000. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet your local firefighters and learn more about the fire service.
