Expanding Business Hopes to Grow Online
Business With Pleasure opened moved to a new location at One Victor Square.
When Marcelo Siero took over Business With Pleasure a decade ago, his intention was to build a brick-and-mortar business that would provide some financial backing for online endeavors.
This fall, he brought that effort full circle when Business With Pleasure moved to a larger location with enough space to support Internet start-ups while still providing services for local businesses.
"We want to incubate some Internet businesses," Siero said.

One of those businesses is Artists.com, a site Siero built to create an online catalogue of local artists' work. Currently, the site features about 30 artists, each showcasing 30-50 pieces.
"The idea is artists from Scotts Valley can sell anywhere," Siero said.

He hopes to add other small tech-based businesses to the incubator program, which is housed on the second story of the new building where there is plenty of space for meetings and offices.
"It's curious. Recessions are good for building some things," Siero said. "There's a bit of a vacuum here. I think it will fill with some interesting things."
Downstairs, Business with Pleasure will still offer its wide range of business-support services: printing, fax, computer rental, office supplies and stationary.
There will be a grand opening event at Business With Pleasure 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the new location, 1 Victor Square, off Scotts Valley Drive.
