Firefighters Conducted Controlled Burn In Scotts Valley Wednesday
Residents saw smoke throughout Santa Cruz County on Wednesday.
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — Cal Fire crews conducted a controlled burn in the area near Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park Campground in Scotts Valley, police officials said. The burn was scheduled through 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said many residents called 911 to report the smoke after the burn started Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
No other information was available.
