Gabriella’s Snow Day 2018: Photos Of The Week

In 2012, "angels" answered wish of snow from cancer-stricken 4-year-old. Team G Foundation hosted the annual Scotts Valley event.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – In 2012, 4-year-old Gabriella Cosner, who was battling a rare form of cancer, made one wish for her Dec. 24 birthday -- a white Christmas. Yes, she wanted SNOW for her fifth birthday, which falls on Christmas Eve.

A blog posting from her mom, Kristin, was answered by "angels" Deb Loze and Glenna Heller, that has evolved into an annual Scotts Valley fundraiser -- Gabriella’s Snow Day -- with Team G Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Over the past six years, thousands of area families turn up to support the fun-day tradition, which was held this year on Dec. 1 at the Skypark.
