Gabriella’s Snow Day: Join The Fun & Help Fight Childhood Cancer
Originally launched to grant a cancer-stricken girl's wish to see snow, the annual family event is Sunday at Skypark in Scotts Valley.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – The 5th annual Gabriella’s Snow Day, a charity event supporting Team G Childhood Cancer Foundation, is set for Sunday, Dec. 17 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Skypark in Scotts Valley.
This community fundraiser, geared to kids and families, benefits Team G’s mission of supporting newly diagnosed families of childhood cancer with research funding, (and, to date, has raised more than $200,000), along with sending 1,200-plus "Hope Totes" to families at childhood cancer institutes nationwide -- totes filled with such essentials as toiletries and snacks, plus journals and cancer-resource guides.
Gabriella's Snow Day, which began in 2012 when then-4-year-old Gabriella Cosner of Scotts Valley was battling a rare cancer and wanted snow for her Christmas Eve birthday, has since drawn more than 1,300 children and families to remember her wish and help fund the Team G mission.
