Piano Night at Malone’s
Where/When: Malone’s Grille, 4402 Scotts Valley Dr. Friday, 9 p.m.
What: The longtime Scotts Valley bar and restaurant recently underwent a facelift and one of the new features is a piano bar. Join Chris Kelly on the piano to sing your favorite songs every Wednesday and Friday. Chris rocks the house with sing-alongs, humor and fun-filled entertainment, and best of all, he takes requests.
Price: Admission is free. Food and beverages are available at various prices.

“The Gift of Art” Exhibit
Where/When: Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center, 9341 Mill St., Ben Lomond. Opening reception, Friday, 6-8 p.m. Art exhibit, Now through Dec. 24. Wednesdays-Sundays, noon-6 p.m.
What: The Art Center’s newest exhibit, “The Gift of Art,” is opening with a reception on Friday where the public can meet the artists.

San Lorenzo Valley History Night
Where/When: Park Hall, 9370 Mill St. Saturday, 5-7 p.m.
What: Come out and celebrate several special anniversaries in Ben Lomond as the town will mark 125 years, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 111 years, Valley Churches United, 30 years, and St. Andrew’s Preschool, 30 years. There will be slide shows and exhibits from Valley residents and the San Lorenzo Valley Historical Society, and music and food as people reconnect and reminisce on the old days.

Santa Cruz Mountains Harvest Festival
Where/When: Downtown Boulder Creek. Saturday, 11 a.m. -6 p.m.
What: It’s time to celebrate the harvest season and what better way than with artists, musicians, wine, beer and delicious food? The Harvest Festival in Boulder Creek will offer all of the above at this fun event for the whole family.

Santa Cruz Symphony Opener
Where/When: Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, 307 Church Street, Santa Cruz. Saturday, 8 p.m.
What: Vienna is the theme for the opener conducted by Dr. Robert Tomaro, featuring Nicolai's "Overture to the Merry Wives of Windsor," Mozart's "Piano Concerto No. 22" with Neil Rutman, and Brahms's "Symphony No. 1." It's always great to get some culture, right?

Music in Skypark
Where/When: Skypark, 361 Kings Village Rd. Sunday, 3:30 p.m.
What: Scotts Valley's free summer concert series is coming to an end. The last show is Sunday with the grooving sounds of popular Santa Cruz band Extra Large. Opening the concert will be Funkranomicon, with their high energy, danceable funk and soul.
All profits from the concessions will be donated to the music programs of Scotts Valley schools.
