Heroin, Guns, Pills, $30,000 Cash Seized By Santa Cruz SO

The items were found after the Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at a home in Boulder Creek.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office Narcotics Team uncovered some 340 grams of heroin, 130 grams of methamphetamine, 85 grams of cocaine, 2,300 prescription pills and $30,000 in cash after serving a search warrant at a Boulder Creek home. John Belmore was arrested this week on suspicion of possessing the drugs with the intent to sell them and booked into the Santa Cruz County jail.

Deputies also discovered two handguns, packaging and scales during the search. Belmore was out of law enforcement custody on a 2017 case related to narcotics sales and gun possession, according to the Sheriff's Office.
