Hwy 17 Road Rage Leads To Arrest

One motorist allegedly pointed a rifle out the car window at another driver, police said.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – The Scotts Valley Police Department reported that a Tuesday afternoon road-rage incident between two drivers on Highway 17 led to one man's arrest.

"During the course of the incident, one driver pointed a rifle out of his window at the other driver," the department said. "Both vehicles entered Scotts Valley, and our officers located the driver with the gun."

Four firearms were recovered from the suspect's vehicle, and he was arrested for felony charges of suspected brandishing of a firearm and driving under the influence, police said.
