It's pARTy Time at the Library

It’s time for art, books and fun as the Friends of the Scotts Valley Library prepare to throw the fourth annual pARTy in the Library.

The event, an annual fundraiser for the Friends, will feature a raffle, silent and live auction of over 60 pieces of art from local artists, including paintings, pastels, jewelry, clay, photography, glass and fabric art.

The money raised from the event will be used for the Friends Patio Project, which broke ground in mid-August. The new patio will be a nice addition to the library with plants, tables, benches, chairs and umbrellas.

pARTy in the Library is on Sept. 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are now on sale. They can be purchased at the Scotts Valley Library, 251 Kings Village Road; Zinnia’s, 219 Mt. Hermon Rd.; and Mollie’s Café, 219 Mt. Hermon Rd.
