Large Mudslide, Downed Wires Close Section of Highway 17
BREAKING: Emergency crews are on scene. Drivers should avoid the area.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A mudslide and downed wires have closed northbound Highway 17 at Granite Creek this morning, according to Scotts Valley police. Caltrans crews are working to clear the road. Officials did not yet have an estimate of when the road will reopen.
