Lockhart Gulch Road Fire: Fully Contained in Scotts Valley
BREAKING: The 9-acre blaze broke out Monday night.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – A 9-acre fire reported Monday night on Lockhart Gulch Road in the Scotts Valley area was fully contained this morning, according to officials.
The blaze was first logged at 9:30 p.m. on the 2000 block of Lockhart Gulch and led to a temporary road closure near the Mission Springs Conference Center, the Scotts Valley Police Department said.
No mandatory evacuations were ordered, and as of 5:30 a.m. today the fire was fully contained and controlled to approximately 9 acres, the agency said.
