Lottery Ticket Worth $750K Sold At Watsonville 7-Eleven

The lucky scratcher ticket was from the store on East Lake Avenue.

WATSONVILLE, CA -Β A woman scored a $750,000 win on a scratcher purchased at a 7-Eleven in Watsonville, according to lottery officials.

Ma Elena Melgoza purchased the Mystery Crossword Scratcher at 261 East Lake Avenue and collected the top prize. She declined to comment on the win.

By chance, one of the winning tickets in the recent $1.586 billion Powerball drawing was purchased in Santa Cruz County. One of that lottery’s winners, who came away with $638,000, purchased a ticket at a Chevron station in Santa Cruz.
