Man Injured in Crash that Knocked Out Powers to 1,200 in Aptos
The impacted customers have a 95003 ZIP code including those on Kingsbury Drive, Townsend Drive, Farley Drive and Martin Drive

A man suffered minor injuries in a crash with a power pole in Aptos, late Wednesday morning that led to an outage impacting more than 1,000 PG&E customers, officials said.
The man crashed a car into a pole in the area of Townsend and Farley drives around 11:45 a.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Trista Sharp said.
He was transported to a hospital for minor injuries, she said. No one else was inside the car, according to Sharp.

The damaged pole was found in the 200 block of Kenneth Drive, utility spokeswoman Mayra Tostado said.
There were initially 1,230 PG&E customers without power due to the crash but service was restored to all at around 10 p.m., Tostado said.
