Pair Nabbed On Mt. Herman Road With 400 Credit & Debit Cards: Police

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – Police in Scotts Valley arrested two people Tuesday suspected of manufacturing fraudulent credit and debit cards.
In the early morning hours on Tuesday, officers contacted a man and a woman inside a vehicle at 253 Mt. Hermon Road. They were identified as Jason and Diana Ress, police said.
According to police, Diana Ress had an outstanding arrest warrant from another county and was detained, police said.

After a police K9 unit detected a controlled substance, officers searched the vehicle. They found 11 grams of methamphetamine, more than 400 credit and debit cards, equipment used to manufacture fraudulent credit and debit cards, burglary tools, stolen property and a fake California ID, police said.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the county jail on suspicion of numerous offenses, including possessing forged access cards, a fraudulent ID card, equipment for manufacturing forged access cards, a
controlled substance, burglary tools and conspiracy, police said.
