Poll: Will You Support the Educational Parcel Tax?
The school district will put the parcel tax before voters in June. What are your thoughts?

The Scotts Valley Unified School District will soon be putting an educational parcel tax–$48 a parcel for three years–in voters’ hands.
The tax will be on the ballot in the June primary and will need two-thirds voter approval to pass.
There was a long, ongoing discussion by the school board regarding how much the tax rate should be and what the duration should be. The board in December to poll residents on what amount and duration they would most likely vote for. , the $48 amount and three year duration was unanimously voted on.
