A Scotts Valley resident wants to alert locals that an adult coyote was in her yard today along Granite Creek Road.
The area was between upper and lower Navarra Drive.
Folks who live nearby may want to take precautions and not leave small pets and children unattended, according to wildlife officials’ advice.
