Update 4 p.m.: All lanes are open on 17 following the slide, but rush hour traffic is set to hit.  Original Story: A rockslide has closed a lane of southbound state Highway 17 near Los Gatos this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol and Caltrans. The rockslide prompted the lane closure at 10 a.m. near Laurel Road, about five miles south of Los Gatos, Caltrans officials said. The lane is expected to reopen around 2 p.m., according to Caltrans.
