Save The Date: 'Taste Of Scotts Valley' Is Thursday, July 14

With wine, beer, food, music and artist-meet-and-greet, this event is kick-off to upcoming 2016 Scotts Valley Art Wine & Beer Festival.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA -- Mark your calendars for "Taste of Scotts Valley" on Thursday, July 14, the kick-off party for the 2016 Scotts Valley Art Wine & Beer Festival.

The tasting event is Thursday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley Hilton, as a prelude to the Art Wine & Beer Festival held in August.

More than 15 restaurants will be onsite with samples of delicious food.

Nosh on tasty bites from local restaurants from all around the county including Alessio Chef and Sweets, La Gioconda Restaurant in Soquel, Sushi Garden, Bruno’s BBQ, Malone’s Grille, Mint Living & Fresh Bites, the Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley Hilton, Taqueria Los Gallos, Café Hanna, and Sushi San, which recently opened in Felton.

Chocolate Visions will be making their fine chocolates to pair nicely with the wine.

You will also have a chance to meet and mingle with many of the 100 festival artists, who have each donated a piece of their work to make it the most incredible raffle you have ever seen - all in the largest ballroom at the recently renovated Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley Hilton. Entertainment and a photo booth will be provided by professional disc jockey, Jack Crawford of Music Now.

This is your chance to enjoy a premier wine tasting event that includes seven wineries all in the same
location. Award-winning wines that will be poured at the Art Wine & Beer Festival on Aug. 20 and
21, include Wright Station, Armitage Wines, 37th Parallel, Hallcrest Vineyards, Surf City Ciders,
Pelican Ranch Winery, and Wargin Wines.

Hand-crafted brew will be on tap from Steel Bonnet Brewery and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing Co.
