The donation of $3,500, raised in under a week through a Good Shepherd student jog-a-thon, will bolster the Dominican Hospital Foundation Patient Support Fund, which enables the purchase of urgent medical equipment needed after discharge – such as wheelchairs and hearing aids – for patients who cannot afford the purchases on their own.
