Scotts Valley Company Makes Fastest-Growing List

Inc. Magazine's list of 5000 of the country's fastest-growing companies has been released, and Scotts Valley-based ROI Communication made the list, coming in at number 3,397.

ROI is a "business consultancy that advises clients on strategy and planning; benchmarking and analysis; internal and external communication in the areas of sales, culture, and business change; social media; and intranets and mobile technology, among other areas," according to Inc. Magazine.

The company, which was founded in 2001, employs 89 people, has a three-year growth of 57 percent, and had $13.1 million in revenue for 2011. The list factors in revenue growth over the past four years.

Twelve Silicon Valley companies in total made the list.

Other Bay Area companies that made the list included the San Mateo-based companies Adap.tv, Marketo Inc. and SugarSync, Inc., Mountain View-based companies Audience Inc. and Axcient Inc., Santa Clara-based Palo Alto Networks, Milpitas-based Anjaneyap Inc., San Jose-based A10 Networks Inc., Fremont-based Mobifusion Inc., Sunnyvale-based Arteris Inc., and, of course, Menlo Park-based Facebook Inc., included because the company was still private in 2011.
