Stolen License Plate Leads To Arrest, Stolen Gun
After spotting a license plate that was reported stolen, Scotts Valley police stopped the driver.
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – A man from Redding was arrested Friday night after the Scotts Valley Police Department pulled over his vehicle, which had a license plate reportedly listed as stolen, authorities said.
Records showed the motorist, Joshua Reeder, had a suspended driver license, and when his car was inspected prior to towing, officers found two firearms and ammunition inside, according to the department.
"One of the firearms was reported stolen out of Redding," police said.

Reeder was arrested and booked for suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm and driving on a suspended license.
