Two teen-aged juveniles were arrested and released to their parents Saturday night on suspicion of vandalism, according to police. Watsonville police said an officer was conducting an area search at 9:41 p.m. near 1301 Main St. when he saw a male juvenile allegedly tagging a utility box. Police said the suspect was with another male juvenile and when both suspects spotted the officer, immediately fled on foot. According to police, the officer was able to catch both juveniles and recover the marker used to deface the utility box. Police said the moniker "PIE" was tagged on to the utility box. The two juvenile suspects were taken to Watsonville Police Department where they were booked on suspicion of vandalism, resisting arrest, possession of tobacco products while underage, and being drunk in public, before being released to their parents.
