What to Expect From Tonight's School Board Meeting
The Board will accept information on the California State Budget May revise.

The Scotts Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, One Civic Center Dr. The board is expected to consider the following items:
- The Board will receive information on SVUSD teacher involvement in the Silicon Valley Mathematics initiative for 2011-12. The SVMI is a comprehensive and intensive mathematics professional development initiative for school districts and charter schools. SVUSD was a member district of SVMI for the 2011-12 year. Eight teachers, two from each Scotts Valley school, attended a weeklong professional development institute in August. Two of the teachers will present what they learned.
- The Board will accept information from Superintendent Penny Weaver on the May revise of the 2012-13 California State Budget Act and how it will impact SVUSD.
