What to Expect From Tonight's City Council Meeting

- The city council will discuss alternatives to the proposed redistricting plan for Santa Cruz County Supervisorial Districts, which would split the city into two districts along Highway 17.
- The city council will consider amending a Scotts Valley Municipal Code for massage practitioners operating in the city limits, adding an exemption for them from the city permitting process if they are already operating under a valid state certificate issued by the California Massage Therapy Council.
- The city council will consider revising a city animal ordinance to require veterinarians to provide copies of all rabies certificates to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter at the request of the manager of the county shelter.
