1 Killed, 3 Injured In Police Chase On Vanowen Street
A police chase ended in tragedy in the San Fernando Valley where a crash killed one person and injured three others.

VAN NUYS, CA — One person was killed and three more were injured Wednesday when a stolen pickup truck police chase ended in a spectacular crash at a major intersection.
Two trucks and a car were involved in the crash at Vanowen Street and Balboa Boulevardthat that sent debris scattering a block away and left two people trapped inside the wreckage,NBC Los Angeles reported. Officials have not said whether the person killed in the crash was involved in the police chase. Three others were in serious condition.
Officers began chasing a stolen Toyota Tacoma shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Vanowen Street and Owensmouth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
