SHERMAN OAKS, CA. March 21, 2016 -- The Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce and Westfield Fashion Square are teaming up to promote and enhance the health and wellness of the community with the 2nd Annual Spring Into Wellness Health Expo. The free expo will take place on Saturday, April 09 from 10:00am - 4:00pm. It will be at Westfield Fashion Square behind the Mall near the covered parking lot off of Hazeltine Ave. It’s expected to attract approximately 50 vendors, health experts, fitness professionals, and others.

Highlights include vendors offering free health and wellness services, fitness classes, kids activities, diagnostic tests, and health education. Diagnostic tests include; thyroid, blood pressure, skin, and stroke screenings as well as glucose and grip strength tests. It will also feature a family-friendly bounce house, a 25’ climbing wall, activities, prize wheels, and a 3K walk in honor of the Center for Individual & Family Counseling. The free fitness classes and health demonstrations will be featured on the Wellness Stage inside the Mall near Macy’s throughout the day.

The 3K STEP Into Wellness walk, dedicated to the Center for Individual & Family Counseling, will begin at 12pm. For 40 years, the CIFC has offered a diverse spectrum on mental health services for individuals, couples, children, adolescents and families. The organization’s philosophy believes in offering affordable, quality mental health care. Additionally, CIFC is a clinical and educational training facility for pre-licensed Marriage & Family counselors. Visit www.cifc1.org.
