Actress Kirsten Dunst, a Notre Dame High Grad, Gets Restraining Order Extended
L.A. judge grants court order against Dunst's alleged stalker, who reportedly sent more than 50 love letters to the 'Spiderman' co-star.
Actress Kirsten Dunst on Monday won a second extension of a restraining order to keep a French fan away from her, this time until 2015.
The Spider-Man co-star was initially granted a court order against Jean Christophe Prudhon, 51, in December amid allegations he sent her more than 50 love letters and flew to the U.S. to meet her, even confronting the actress' mother on the doorstep of her home.
The temporary restraining order was extended later that month and was set to expire Monday, but Los Angeles Judge Carol Boas Goodson has now extended it until Jan. 9, 2015.

Prudhon must stay at least 100 yards away from Dunst and her mother, and must stop trying to contact the actress.
"Tell Ms. Dunst we're doing the most we can for her," Goodson told Dunst's lawyers. "It's one of the costs of being a celebrity but it shouldn't have to be." (See eonline.com's list of stars with stalkers)

Goodson also praised Dunst's lawyers for successfully serving Prudhon with the complaint and summons regarding Monday's hearing after getting the help of French attorney Vincent Toledano. Blair Berk, one of Dunst's attorneys, praised Toledano's efforts in performing the service.
Neither the 29-year-old Dunst nor Prudhon was present for the hearing.
Dunst, a Golden Globe-nominated American actress, is known for her roles in Interview Wiith the Vampire, The Virgin Suicides, Marie Antoinette and Bring It On, as well as playing Mary Jane Watson in the Spider-Man film series.
According to Cheerchannel.com, one of Dunst's most popular roles was as a cheerleader in Bring It On. Actors in the film were required to audition with a cheerleading routine, and she had a special edge: The recent graduate of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks was part of the school's cheerleading program.
