Body Found In Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS, CA —A body was found Wednesday at a homeless encampment in the Sherman Oaks area, but there was no indication of foul play, authorities said.

The body -- the person's gender and age were not immediately available -- was discovered about 8:30 a.m. near the 15300 block of Burbank Boulevard and the San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Foul play is not suspected in the death, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
