Bomb Squad Investigates Package On Ventura Blvd. In Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad investigated a suspicious package on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks. Residents and drivers wer being advised to avoid the area between Hazeltine Avenue and Woodman Avenue.

Authorities determined that the package was not a threat, and Ventura Boulevard was reopened to traffic by the 12 o'clock hour.
