Brazen Restaurant Robbers Caught On Tape
Police hope someone will recognize five men, who robbed a patron at a Sherman Oaks restaurant.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police in Los Angeles hope someone will recognize five men suspected of holding up a patron of a Sherman Oaks restaurant at gunpoint. Authorities released footage of the brazen robbers Tuesday.
According to detectives, the robbery occurred at a restaurant in the area of Ventura and Van Nuys boulevards at about 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 21. The robbers had been eating at the restaurant and passed the victim on their way out the door. Moments after they exited, three of the men returned with hoodies covering their heads. One of the robbers pointed a handgun at the victim as the other two robbed him, according to the LAPD.
The five suspects had been at the restaurant, then left, passing the victim as they exited, police said.
