Burst Water Main Floods Sherman Oaks Neighborhood
Crews worked to repair the damage caused early Thursday when an 8-inch main burst.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A Sherman Oaks neighborhood flooded Thursday morning when a burst water main sent a torrent of water down the street.
According to Sylvia Beltran of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, an 8-inch water main burst around 2 a.m. on Cedros Avenue near Benefit Street. Repair crews were on the scene , attempting to repair the damage, which affected service to three customers.
There is no estimated time for when the repairs will be completed, said Beltran.
