Cheap price for love; East Valley Shelter Pet Adoption Harvest Fair Saturday, October 10th

Give some love and get some love on the cheap! Organized by Assemblyman Adrin Nazarian in conjunction with LA Animal Services’ East Valley Shelter, October 10th’s Pet Adoption Harvest Fair will be an opportunity for community residents to find a new animal companion or to receive bargain healthcare services for their pets.

Participants will be able to take home a dog or cat complete with vaccinations, microchip, spayed or neutered and with license for only $83.50 for dogs and $50.50 for cats — a savings of more than $400.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. There will be free totes, giveaway goodies and raffle prizes from Unleashed/Petco, The WaterPlant, SNP/LA and Lusy’s Mediterranean Cafe.

In addition all attendees will receive a free gallon of water and water jug. There will also be bargain rates on services from SNP/LA that include a complete vaccination package for pets including DA2PP, rabies, bordetella and a microchip for only $40. Micro-chipping will be available for only $15.

Participants can win a free gift card from Petco or an SNP/LA gift certificate for up to $75 in free services and there will be live canine demonstrations by the LAPD.
