Join Sherman Oaks Cub Scouts June 2nd!
Dear Families,
You and your son are invited to join Cub Scout Pack 190!
Cub Scouts participate in many fun and educational activities such as building and racing miniature cars and boats, hiking, biking, canoeing and rowboats, swimming, camping, archery, marksmanship and so much more. Cub Scout Pack 190 has been part of the Sherman Oaks community for many years and our Cub Scouts bridge into Boy Scout Troop 191 which has an enduring 60+ year tradition of helping boys achieve the honorable rank of Eagle Scout.
Pack meetings are held at Church of the Chimes, which has graciously sponsored Cub Scout Pack 190 and Boy Scout Troop 191. We are parents and volunteers just like you and welcome you to visit our pack and see what we are all about. Visitors and siblings are always invited at our pack events and may participate in the activities. While the Church sponsors our Pack, our members are diverse on all fronts and represent a variety of faiths and backgrounds.
Cub Scouting provides the opportunity to have fun while building character and developing new skills. Cub Scouting is for boys entering or in first grade through fifth grade. (Boys entering sixth grade and up are invited to join Boy Scout Troop 191).
You will have the opportunity to see our Scouts in action, learn more about the scouting experience and meet the leaders and other parents. All family members are invited to attend and participate.
