Penny has co-written songs with Academy Award, Grammy Award, and CMA Award winning songwriters who have a played a major role in developing her artistry to what it is today. Penny's songs have been featured in such hit films as White Chicks and 10 Things I Hate About You (and on the soundtrack that has sold over 500,000 copies) as well as hit TV shows, The Office, Scrubs, Summerland, Everwood, Las Vegas, Dawson’s Creek, Providence, Jag, Roswell, The Real World, Law & Order, and more.
Penny now resides in Los Angeles, California. She teaches songwriting when she’s not in the studio writing and recording songs and has been a guest speaker or teacher at The Los Angeles Recording School, The Los Angeles Film School, The Learning Annex, The Hollywood Pop Academy, Seth Rigg’s SLS Hollywood Music Camp, and privately as well. Penny also co-writes and co-produces both signed and unsigned recording artists.
