Fatal Crash Ties Up Roscoe Boulevard

VAN NUYS, CA — One person died and another was critically injured in a crash Thursday morning on Roscoe Boulevard. The crash investigation tied up traffic on the busy boulevard during the morning rush hour.

The crash was reported about 7 a.m. in the 16400 block of Roscoe Boulevard, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. One person died at the scene of the crash and paramedics rushed a second person to the hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
