Gunmen Tie Up Women In Home Invasion Robbery Targeting Influencer

Three men armed with a handgun and a rifle, tied up and terrorized two housekeepers while ransacking a home in Sherman Oaks.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — Two housekeepers were hospitalized and their attackers remain on the loose following an early morning home invasion robbery targeting the home of a social media influencer in Sherman Oaks Thursday.

Los Angeles police are looking for three armed men who escaped after a home-invasion robbery in which they tied up two women and ransacked a home in the 3800 block Sherwood Place, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison. The women suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital after the attack.

FOX 11 reported that the women awoke in the middle of the night to find guns pointed at them. They were zip-tied and their phones were stolen. They were able to alert the homeowner, an unidentified influencer who shares a child with a prominent music producer, using the home's ring camera system, Fox reported.

According to Madison, officers were called at approximately 2 a.m. to respond to the home invasion robbery.

The suspects were armed with a black handgun and a rifle, according to police. Two were dressed in black clothing and the third was dressed in a gray sweatshirt and black pants, according to the LAPD.
