LAPD To Hold DUI Checkpoint in Sherman Oaks
Police will be on the lookout for drunken drivers around Los Angeles with a saturation patrol and a series of checkpoints this weekend.
Sherman Oaks, CA - Los Angeles Police will be on the lookout for drunken drivers in Sherman Oaks Saturday.
The Los Angeles Police Department will be conducting a DUI checkpoint at Ventura Boulevard at Columbus Avenue in Sherman Oaks from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday.
Elsewhere around the region, the LAPD will hold a DUI checkpoint at Sunset Boulevard at Orange Grove Avenue Friday night from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Police will also conduct a saturation patrol in the North Hollywood area Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Over the past three years, there have been 7,048 DUI-related traffic collisions in Los Angeles, resulting in 60 fatalities and 2,818 injuries, according to the LAPD.
