Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation presents Twice a Citizen honors 4/11
Ismael Moreno from North Hollywood Station is named Reserve Officer of the Year for Valley Bureau.
The Twice A Citizen Awards were presented Saturday evening by the Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. This terrific event recognizes the top LAPD Reserve Officers and Specialist Volunteers of the Year (who volunteer their time as an LAPD officer) chosen by each Division… it is the LAPD and the Reserve Foundation’s opportunity to say thank you for the thousands of hours these dedicated individuals contribute each year to help keep our city safe. Also honored were three community leaders: Councilmember Tom LaBonge, Ira K. Reiner, CEO of Homeland Security, and LAPD Assistant Chief Sandy Jo MacArthur. The Reserve Officer of the Year award for Valley Bureau was presented to Ismael Moreno from North Hollywood Station.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck and the cast of TNTs Major Crimes served as co-hosts for the night.
