Los Angeles Valley College Evacuated Amid Threat Investigation
All students and staff have been evacuated and evening classes are cancelled at Los Angeles Valley College.

UPDATED AT 4:27 P.M.: LOS ANGELES, CA - A suspicious package has been found at Los Angeles Valley College, and a Los Angeles Sheriff's Department bomb squad is investigating.
Original Post at 3 p.m.: Students at Los Angeles Valley College are being evacuated as authorities investigate a series of threats to the campus.
As of 3 p.m., Los Angeles Sheriff's Department investigators were fanning across the campus to investigate, said Cadet Johnathon Orellana.

An email went out to students and staff Wednesday afternoon, asking them to evacuate.
"LAVC have received several threats and are working with law enforcement to validate these threats. The campus is being evacuated," the email read. "Please leave the campus immediately and calmly. This is not a drill."
