Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Poll In Sherman Oaks: Police
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A man was killed Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash into a pole along a winding road in Sherman Oaks.
The crash was reported at about 1 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Valley Meadow Road, just west of the 405 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An officer said the vehicle struck a curb, then a light pole.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
The LAPD's Valley Traffic Division was handling the investigation.
