Man Shot And Killed During Card Game in Encino
A man was shot at a home in Encino Monday morning, and police arrested a suspect in the shooting, according to media reports.
ENCINO, CA — A man was killed in an early morning shooting in Encino Monday, and his suspected killer, his cousin, has been arrested, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police are investigating the homicide that took place at 1:25 a.m. in the 18000 block of Green Meadow Drive Monday. Officers responding to a report of a shooting arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound outside the Green Meadow Drive home. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification, said an LAPD spokesperson.
The shooting suspect was arrested at the scene. His name was not immediately released.

According to Fox11, the victim and suspect are believed to have been cousins, and the shooting occurred at a social gathering where a card game was in progress.
A news videographer at the scene said the victim was shot in the upper right chest.
