Recognize these Sherman Oaks Burglars?
Police are asking for help identifying these men caught on video breaking into a Sherman Oaks apartments to steal jewelry.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA -- Police are asking for help identifying two burglars who broke into a Sherman Oaks apartment this month.
The Aug. 8 burglary was caught on camera around 11:45 a.m. in an apartment complex in the 4300 block of Riverside Drive.
According to Los Angeles Police Department detectives, “Both suspects walked to the side of the complex where they gained access to the victim’s apartment by climbing into the patio area and prying open the sliding door. The suspects stole jewelry and fled on foot.”

One suspect is described as a 20-25 year-old man about 5’7” and weighing approximately 180-190 pounds. He wore a baseball cap with the letters “LA” on the front, gray shirt, khaki shorts and black shoes. The second man is described as 30-35 years old, about 5’8” to 5’9” and weighs approximately 190-200 pounds. He was wearing a straw hat, white shirt, jean shorts and brown boots.
