San Fernando Valley Teen Missing Since Thursday

Authorities are asking for help finding Kyla Scott​, who disappeared last Thursday.

CANOGA PARK, CA — Police are asking for help finding a 17-year-old Canoga Park girl who disappeared last week. Friends ad family have been unable to reach Kyla Scott since last Thursday when she was last seen walking away from her home in the 20900 block of Community Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"She has not been seen or heard from since," according to an LAPD statement. "Friends and family are unable to contact her and are concerned for her safety."

As of Tuesday morning, Scott remained missing, according to LAPD Officer Drake Madison.

Scott is Black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. The teen was wearing a red shirt, a plaid skirt, and green- and-gray shoes when she disappeared.
