Show Your Puppy Love, Sherman Oaks, In Dog Park Photo Contest
The Friends of the Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park are holding a photo contest fundraiser to show off Valley pups in a 2019-20 calendar.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — You’ve long suspected that your pup is just the cutest dog there ever was. Now it’s time to put that theory to the test.
The Friends of the Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park are holding a Dog Park Photo Contest, and the winners will be featured in the park's 2019/2020 Calendar. The first, second and third prize winners will be awarded gift cards from Gelson’s ranging in value from $100 to $500, $250.
The contest is part of a fundraiser that will help support ongoing improvements at the popular dog park including the addition of benches, agility courses and other amenities.

The awards will be presented at a celebration at the park on June 23. Park-goers are invited to submit up to four of their own photos celebrating life and great times at the park that have been taken at any time this year, according to organizers. Throughout the day of the event, the submissions will be on display on the fence of the small dog section of the park. From 10 a.m. To 3 p.m., visitors will be able to cast their vote for the best photograph.
Photos can be submitted up through June 17. The first entry costs $15. Each additional entry costs $5. The fees are paid through PayPal when you submit the online form.
