Two Charged with Stealing Package Deliveries from Tarzana-Reseda Homes
Police arrested a pair, who allegedly operated a sophisticated scheme to steal packages delivered to homes in Tarzana and Reseda.

Two people were facing possible theft charges today for allegedly stealing packages from residences in the Tarzana and Reseda areas where items had been delivered, police said.
Ramon Horton, 32, and Olga Efimova, 26, were arrested on Oct. 9 and booked on suspicion of theft, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. Horton also may be charged with mail and package theft, police said.
According to police, the case involved “a sophisticated operation of tracking delivery trucks to coordinate thefts.”

The investigation led to the suspects when a homeowner provided police with a security image of a rented truck that was used by a person who stole a package from the resident’s porch, police said.
The suspect apparently had followed a UPS delivery truck to the residence, police said.
