Valley Home Invasion Robbers Caught On Camera
Police hope someone will recognize three armed men caught on camera breaking into a home near Mulholland Drive.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A brazen home-invasion robbery that rattled the Sherman Oaks community was caught on camera, and detectives hope the security footage of the robbery will lead to the culprits.
Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division detectives released footage of the April 9th robbery Friday. It shows three armed men, who busted their way into the home, terrorized the residents and ransacked the home.
At the start of the video, one of the suspects can be seen knocking on the front door with his gun at the ready. He glances squarely at the security camera, and undeterred, heads around to the back of the house.

“The suspect hopped a fence, skirted a fence line and entered a pool patio area at the rear side of the residence,” according to the LAPD. “The suspect walked up to a door and kicked it in to gain entry. Two additional suspects joined the initial suspect, all three entered the house and confronted victims inside at gunpoint.”
The robbery happened at about 4 a.m. near the 14000 block of Mulholland Drive. The suspects fled the scene in a car waiting for them on Mullholland, according to police.
