Vandal Targets Planes at Van Nuys Airport
Someone managed to get into the secure area at Van Nuys Airport to vandalize three aircraft.
VAN NUYS, CA - Authorities today investigated the vandalism of three airplanes at Van Nuys Airport.
The crime occurred about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, said Los Angeles Airport Police Sgt. Belinda Joseph.
"An unidentified male accessed the perimeter fence and entered the secure ramp area," Joseph said. "The suspect subsequently vandalized three aircraft. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time."

The suspect scaled the fence near Havenhurst Avenue and Valerio Street and escaped, Joseph said.
