• Second-Alarm Fire Displaces One Resident From Two-Story Pasadena Home (pasadenanow.com) — Sierra Madre firefighters helped battle a second-alarm house fire near Pasadena's Langham Huntington Hotel that caused about $600,000 in damage and displaced one resident, but resulted in no injuries. Pasadena called a second alarm for extra support, bringing in multiple neighboring departments, including Sierra Madre, to contain the chimney and attic blaze and save most of the property's value.
