Respect for citizens of Sierra Madre

Recently as I was walking my dogs, I fell down crossing the street in order to avoid a confortation with a dog & its owner. The owner of the other dog did not help, 2 cars from Hasting Ranch stopped to check on me. As I was getting up & assesing the damage to my body, a jogger was very put off by the fact I was in his jogging path, and told me so! He did not try to help me.

Prior to this insident a man pushing his toddler jogging with a small aggressive dog on leash would not show me the courtesy of 5 seconds to cross the street , again to avoid a confortation due to the fact he yelled:" I don't have 5 seconds to wait!" My son has to eat lunch at 12:00 noon on time! By the way it was 10:30 a.m. It's interesting he had no time to allow me to cross, but had the time to stop and yell at me telling me why he didn't have 5 seconds...

We all love living here in Sierra Madre, great town, great neighbors. I say to all who are out there, learn to be more respectful of the people who live in our community, practice more courtesy, & once in while show a random act of kindness! You would be surprised what a kind gesture, a kind word or a smile will do...
